We began the year at the 1000 Trails Palm Springs Preserve in Palm Desert CA, where we'd spent much of November and December 2011. This was our first experiment with a relatively long-term stay someplace. We ended the year, unexpectedly, at the Winchester Bay RV Resort in Winchester Bay OR, following Al's unplanned gallbladder surgery.
